The elegant Blunk Double Hoop earrings are based on a unique piece of jewelry made by JB Blunk in 1975 for his wife Christine Nielson. Crafted by Tess Young, the earrings feature two interlocking 18k recycled gold hoops and a perfectly-spherical sliding bone bead.

Blunk began making jewelry in 1954 at Palos Verdes College in Los Angeles where he taught ceramics – he continued to make one-off pieces throughout his life from his studio in Inverness, California.
