The Blunk Cups are an ongoing series of slip cast ceramics based on JB Blunk’s original pieces.

As part of Commune Shows, Blunk Space is launching the newest edition of Blunk Cups in a cobalt blue and black glaze. This striking cobalt blue was inspired by JB Blunk's VW flatbed pickup truck, which he painted with cobalt house paint in the 1960s. Commune designs the packaging for all our Blunk products including the cups, which come wrapped in a cotton bandanna printed with JB’s iconic signature.

The vessels are smooth to the touch and retain the silhouettes and details of Blunk’s originals. These unique cups bring the spirit of Blunk’s work into everyday life, as it was meant to be experienced.

The estate collaborates with artists Tyler Cross and Kyle Lypka to produce the cups in the Bay Area.
